JBLM is committed to reducing, reusing, and recycling as much as possible to preserve the environment, meet Department of Defense goals, and to wisely steward financial and natural resources. Corporate Waste Solutions (CWS), is proud to assist JBLM in their efforts of waste minimization and diversion by creating a robust recycling program. These combined efforts will sustain resources, allowing JBLM to be a premier training installation well into the future.  Participation and promotion of the program is important to meet these sustainability goals.

The JBLM Recycling Centers on McChord and Lewis are open to all personnel who live and/or work on base, JBLM organizations, and military personnel who live off base with orders.  The facilities are not open to any other users, including retirees and civilians, due to legal restrictions.
